Working on his new album, Joe carefully picked not only his band mates, but also his equipment. The sound of “Unstoppable Momentum” was created by the musicians who put their energy and personality into the album, but also a few technical novelties were introduced as far as guitars and equipment is concerned. You cannot miss the fact that Satriani’s last two solo albums were marked by his return to Marshall amps and the guitarist’s new love – Ibanez JS-2400. This particular instrument is a trip back to the roots – Joe’s sympathy for stratocasters and the tone of Jimi Hendrix.
