FENDER ACOUSTICS INTRODUCES F-SERIES ACOUSTIC RANGE

Fender Acoustics is proud to introduce the new Fender F-Series range of acoustic and electro acoustic guitars. Reminiscent of the Fender F-Series of the 70’s, the new F-Series acoustics evoke the essence of that era with features such as a large Fender ’70s headstock and “Viking”-style rosewood bridge, but add a natural look with maple logo inlay on the headstock, maple and rosewood rosette and, maple ‘F’ logo on the 12th fret and maple body binding on some models.

Fender F-1000

The F-1020S Dreadnought has a gloss finish in either Natural or Black. The top is solid cedar, with a mahogany back and sides and mahogany “C” shaped neck. Body and neck binding is maple, while the hardware is black on the black models, and aged chrome on the natural. This model is also available as the F-1020SCE Dreadnought Cutaway featuring the Fishman Isys III pickup/preamp system with onboard active preamp and built-in chromatic tuner.

The satin natural finished F-1030 Dreadnought features a solid cedar top with rosewood back and sides, and mahogany neck with comfortable “C”-shaped profile. Maple body and neck binding along with aged chrome hardware add to the natural look of the guitar. This model is also available as the F-1030SCE Dreadnought Cutaway featuring the Fishman Presys™ pickup/preamp system with onboard active preamp, built-in chromatic tuner.

According to Fender Acoustics product manager, Jim Bryant, “we wanted to introduce a line of guitars that had a really natural and sweet look and sound, while retaining some of that fun Fender vibe. The old F-series from the 70’s was a good place to start, and we really reworked these new guitars starting from there. The oversized headstocks, Viking bridge, wooden inlays and vintage tuners give the guitars a really cool look.”

The guitars will be available in stores throughout Europe from the end of March 2014.
